Why am I talking about finding the perfect diet for you?
You’ve probably heard the statistic that 95% of dieters can’t keep the weight off, and when they gain it back they often gain MORE than they weighed before.
Research has proven that dieting can backfire AND mess up your metabolism.
And if you're dieting to lose weight, then STOP! Most diets aimed at weight loss are extremely restrictive. You cannot restrict your way to health.
Many of my clients who have tried this route have developed massive anxiety around food. I promise this will only make your health worse!
What’s important about this dieting statistic?
I can vouch for myself that diets lead me down a path of eating disorders and massive anxiety around food. I was actually part of the 5% of people whom dieting worked for. Except it worked too well for me and I developed anorexia and bulimia. Once I ditched diets (which was terrifying at the time), and started listening to my body, I finally felt healthy. I finally felt satisfied with where my health was. And it wasn't based off what society deemed as healthy. It was solely based off how I felt in my body. I feel at peace in my skin now, which is something I don't remember ever feeling before.
